Meet Dale

The starting line was tense and adrenaline ran high. Feathers fluttered..."coos" of good luck were exchanged and last minute fuel ups of water and seed were taken. The goal was to fly fast and hard and finish first. Dale Earnhardt the "lucky 88" hopped into position. He was big, bold and a strong blue bar racing pigeon. Not knowing any better, Dale never anticipated anything but a win-win! But today would be a different kind of day for Dale. The sun was blistering hot and the race long. Determination gave Dale a mighty start. But as the day wore on Dale became weaker and weaker under the scorching heat and finally the need for hydration brought him down. Lucky 88 did not need to wait long for a rescue from one of our GLPR team members. Fresh water, food, and a place to rest weary wings was just around the corner. Dale is now officially a retired racing pigeon looking to find a place to kick up his big pink feet and settle down with a foster or forever family. He has that sweet and captivating personality that is certain to "WIN" you over immediately. Wave your checkered flag and bring Dale right into your heart!
