Meet Custard & Meringue
Custard and Meringue came to us from a home that ended up with too many parakeets. This pair is pretty chatty and fills our lobby with cheerful chirps. They must be adopted as a pair because they are used to living with other parakeets and have always had each other's company. They love their spacious cage and would like a similar setup in their new home. We do have a cage that needs a little TLC we would send home with them if the adopter needs one.
Parakeets are social animals that enjoy spending time outside of their cages. Our parakeet adoption fee is $25. Parakeets need fresh fruits and vegetables as part of a healthy diet. They can eat many fruits and vegetables, including grated carrots, green leafy vegetables, raw broccoli, and apple slices.
