Our Mission
C.H.A.R.M., Inc. is a group of volunteers who organized in 2010 to save the lives of the dogs at the Headland Animal Shelter. We provide food, medical care, and socialization skills to prepare the dogs for adoption. We provide shelter improvements to make their time spent in the shelter as comfortable as possible. We work at the shelter on a regular basis to clean kennels, feed & water the dogs, exercise the dogs and just give them love and attention.
Adoption Policy
We do not have a full time shelter staff person but we are happy to meet people at the shelter by appointment 7 days per week including after hours. We expect our adopters to (1) Own your property, (2) Have a fence adequate for the dog, (3) Be able to provide a vet reference if you have previously owned an animal.
