Espie has been adopted! Hey! My name is Esperanza (isn't that grand?) but everybody here calls me Espie. I am the the most important cat here at Wildrun. Really. Forget all these other cats. I'm the one you want to run your life! When I was spayed, my vet also decided one of my canine teeth needed to go, so now I have a little sneer when my lip hangs up on my other fang and my tongue sticks out just a little. If it looks like I'm giving the world a big raspberry, it's because nothing is as important and fun-loving as ME! I'm not such a big fan of other cats. I can learn to get along,I suppose, but you won't see me snuggled up with these other guys here, and I warn them off with a little growl. If you are looking for a cat who would be happy to be your one-and-only, that would be ME!

Just check out my paws! Mondo toes! Who wants a cat with average feet when I have cool mitts like this? With this many toes I don't need to use my claws. I'll grab hold to keep you close to me, but I'm good about not scratching. Still, I'll need you to nip the tips on my claws now and then, to keep them from catching on things. I have so many toes I have a hard time keeping track of them.

And hey, let's play! I will come at mach speed when you call my name.

Wildrun adopts rescued street cats and kittens to indoor-only homes within 2 hours of the Ithaca-Owego-Watkins Glen region of New York State. We would be happy to have you visit on an evening or weekend with advanced email notice. All cats are FeLV/FIV tested, vaccinated, spay/neutered, and will have had a recent veterinarian's exam. The adoption fee is $50 to our veterinarian fund (goes directly to the vet) or, you can make a $50 donation to the local humane society of your choice.
