Name/Nicknames: Roseanne, Rosie
My Story: Roseanne was surrendered at a Red Lake Reservation spay/neuter clinic. She had heartworm, an ailment that is caused by mosquitoes. The treatment is all finished up and Rosie is good to go to her forever home.
Hobbies: Napping in the sun is #1. Car rides are a close second. She is a great traveler. Roseanne loves to be outside even when it is cold.
Commands/Tricks: Roseanne knows sit and takes treats very slowly. She walks well on a leash.
Crate / Potty Trained: Yes to both! Roseanne can be trusted to have free roam of the house while you are gone. And she is super happy to greet you when your workday is done.
Activity Level: Low Roseanne is a very calm dog. She came to us with an estimate of 6 but she seems younger than that to me. She does nap a lot but she does gets spurts of energy around other dogs.
Fun things I do: Rosie is the least barky beagle we have been around! She does bark at wildlife outside. Not even a peep when people come to the door. Roseanne loves tummy rubs and will roll over for one at any time.
Socialization/who I currently live with: Roseanne currently lives with her foster mom in a townhouse. She has lots of neighboring furry friends there.
My Ideal Family: Roseanne would do best in a calm household. Apartments would be ok since she is a very quiet dog. Another laid back dog would be ok but she would also be happy as the only dog. She would be fine with older kids that are respectful of dogs.
Roseanne will be attending Pet Haven's adoption events. Her adoption fee is $320 (cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
