Sophie Boston Terrier Jackson, TN

My new name is Sophie and I'm ready for all that life has to offer! I have no idea what my name was before now because I came from being neglected & without any attention (which is torture for a Boston Terrier like me). They tell me I'm 2-4 years old but I must admit....I'm learning some things as a puppy would since I never had the nurturing I deserved. My foster parents are teaching me basic manners and commands. I over hear them talk about how smart I am. For example, I took to crate training right away & take my best naps there. I have 2 female foster siblings...I love them both! I don't fight over food or toys but enjoy both very much. Did I mention that I love taking walks? This is a brand new concept for me bit it's probably my favorite:) I'm of small stature but with big kisses that I love to share. I weigh 21 lbs. I have tested "very light positive" for heartworms so have started on a treatment to get rid of these nasty worms. Thankfully, I don't have to go through a long treatment but will need to stay in foster care until cleared. This will take several months.
