Hi there! My name is Mildred! I am about 8 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs. 


I am a very, very sweet older girl in need of a new home. I am great with all of the people I have met here at the pound. I love going for walks and being loved just about as much as I love sleeping on my bed. Either way, I just try to be as happy as possible and make the best out of my bad situation. 


I have thinned/ missing hair on my backside, which the pound staff believes is due to a flea allergy. I also have very overgrown toe nails, which the pound will have trimmed. 


I get along pretty good with the other dogs here at the pound. For the most part I just kind of mind my own business, but if they try to boss me, I will boss them back. I feel the need to be the boss and won't take much stuff if they push me. I have been loose in the office with the other dogs and the girls here didn't have any trouble with me.

She appears to be in good health and has been given her parvo/distemper vaccine and wormed for 3 days with Pancur.


I AM SCHEDULED TO BE EUTHANIZED ON : WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21ST.  IF MY EUTHANASIA DATE AND TIME ARE ABLE TO BE EXTENDED IT WILL BE.  PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS I AM NOT IN URGENT NEED OF A HOME BECAUSE I AM. THIS IS DETERMINED ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS AS THE POUND'S SPACE IS VERY LIMITED.

The Ohio dog license will be honored throughout the state of Ohio until the end of that current years license.
