Hi there! My name is Lakota! I am about 1-2 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Lisbon area. I was out wandering around when I seen some chickens pecking around and what not... I just couldn't resist the temptation of chicken nuggets and I had to go get me some! The guy who owner the chickens was NOT as thrilled about me killing his chicken as I was, and he brought me here to the pound. Who knew that making your own nuggets would be frowned upon?! Anyhow, here I am in the slammer now. 
I am a great girl here at the pound. The girls here just adore me and tell me all the time what a beautiful girl I am. I am very sweet with the people and I get along very good with the other dogs here at the pound. 
I would be a great girl and I really need a new home. If you don't have any chickens, maybe you could consider adopting me?

She appears to be in good health and has been given her parvo/distemper vaccine and wormed for 3 days with Pancur.


I AM SCHEDULED TO BE EUTHANIZED ON : WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14TH. IF MY EUTHANASIA DATE AND TIME ARE ABLE TO BE EXTENDED IT WILL BE.  PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS I AM NOT IN URGENT NEED OF A HOME BECAUSE I AM. THIS IS DETERMINED ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS AS THE POUND'S SPACE IS VERY LIMITED.

Our adoption fee is $100.00 CASH WHICH INCLUDES HER NEUTER, PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, CURRENT YEARS OHIO DOG LICENSE, AND SHE WILL HAVE BEEN WORMED FOR 3 DAYS. The Ohio dog license will be honored throughout the state of Ohio until the end of that current years license.


We are open Mon.-Fri. 8am-12pm and 1 pm-4pm and Sat. 9am-12pm.
