Kayden -ADOPTED- *SPONSORED!* Australian Shepherd & Corgi Mix Lisbon, OH

Hi there. My name is Kayden. I am about 1 1/2 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs. 
I was found as a stray in East Liverpool and brought here to the pound. I was running the streets for quite some time and I am a bit unsocialized, but someone was finally able to gain my trust enough to be able to catch me and get me into their car so they could bring me here. 
It took me about 2 weeks for the workers here at the pound to gain enough trust and confidence to let them get me out of my kennel to walk and interact with me, but I am doing so much better now. I was just absolutely petrified at first here with all of the dogs baring an what not. They said I am a totally different dog now than when I first came in! I am doing so much better with letting them walk me and I even got a good brushing. I walk good on a leash. I usually walk in front of the people, but I don't tug and pull on my leash. I am starting to really like getting scratched behind my ears an liking attention. I still have a way to go, but I am coming around nicely.
I get along good with they other dogs here too. I have been in the office with dogs of various sizes and both sexes and I have not had any issues at all with them. I am not playful here at the pound yet, but I am young and should come around.

I AM SCHEDULED TO BE EUTHANIZED ON : WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7TH. IF MY EUTHANASIA DATE AND TIME ARE ABLE TO BE EXTENDED IT WILL BE. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS I AM NOT IN URGENT NEED OF A HOME BECAUSE I AM. THIS IS DETERMINED ON A DAY BY DAY BASIS AS THE POUNDS SPACE IS VERY LIMITED.
