Meet Barney

Hiya, I'm Barney. I came to the shelter when my person could no longer take care of me. I'm sad that I left home, but the folks at the shelter are very nice to me and told me that I will find a new home if I am a good boy and show the visitors here how good I can be. I'm a really nice guy. I am what they call a senior kitty, and because of my age I'm covered by the Perpet-U-Care Program which will pay for a portion of my health care for the rest of my life. That's a pretty great program and I'm definitely worth it. I can be a little feisty sometimes but mostly I'm a big lazy boy and don't mind just hanging around the house, as long as you hang around with me. I have a funny voice. I don't meow. I kind of croak or quack. Why don't you come visit me soon and you can decide what I sound like. But let me tell you now, I will be saying "I want to come home with you!"
