Personality

I am a 4 year old neutered male Dachshund Chihuahua mix (chiweenie, Huaweenie, choxi, or as foster-dad says Dingo). I am a super cute little guy. I have a great personality. I like to be in your lap when you are sitting down or in bed. I will give kisses but am not obnoxious about it. I am very spunky and my foster mom thinks I am a comedian. I think I am bigger than I am and like to bark at squirrels and cats. I am scared of thunderstorms and loud unexpected noises and will pace and cry a little until the noise is done.

Socialization

Does the dog like other pets?

I get along great with all the other dogs at my foster parents house. I like other dogs. I play really loud. I growl and bark and try to get them to play with me. I love to chase squirrels so cats may not be a great idea for me.

 

Does the dog like children?

I like older kids (8+) and babies. The ones in-between make me nervous and stare at me, and pet me too hard.

 

Favorite Toys

I love to play chase. I love small stuffed toys I can run around with.

 

Forever Home

My forever home will be an adult or and older child household. I would be fine with other dogs or as an only dog. I love attention and am a very smart boy. I would love a family that would love me for me. I am a great companion dog to go everywhere with my parents!
