Lincoln Bearded Collie & Corgi Mix Sheridan, WY

Lincoln is a 9 month old bearded collie/corgi mix.  He wants every one to know that though he is adorable, cuddly and cute looking, he is not a lap dog.  Under all that fur he is a sleek, lean running machine.  Yup, the boy is a high drive, high energy type dog, who due to circumstances in his young life hasn't learned good dog skills. His foster home is working with him on developing some basic skills like obedience and recall, but he is a work in progress so far.  Fortunately he is extremely treat motivated and a quick learner.  Lincoln gets along well with other dogs, however doesn't have all the dog social skills so his foster siblings are teaching him (sometimes the hard way) that stealing toys or treats out of their mouths is not the thing to do.  Cats are a different story, as he sees them as something to chase, so a home with cats is not recommended. There is a lot of potential in Lincoln, but he will need a home that will commit to continuing his education and keeping him occupied both mentally and physically.
