Roxy is a beautiful goldendoodle girl that is approximately 2-3 years old. She weighs about 30 lbs and has a no-low shed coat that will need regular grooming. Her coat was so matted that we had to have her clipped very short but with regular grooming and a little time, she will have a beautiful coat.


Roxy wants to be a lap dog and is a bit of a "velcro dog" so she would do best with an owner that is home a lot. She would be fine as an only dog because she is mostly interested in what you are doing and doesn't care too much about the other dogs in the foster home. She does guard her food bowl when the other dogs are around so she will need to work on that if she goes to a home with  another dog. A firm "No" when she starts to growl at the other dogs seems to do the trick.


Roxy went to training with her foster mom she was fantastic. She healed, sat, and learned stay and down. She impressed everyone and was also great in the car. She sat on the back floor and did not move. She doesn't jump out until she is asked to, which really is very good.

She also had to mingle with big dogs, mastiffs, goldens, labs, and rotties. She was a little nervous but all in all she is very polite by herself when she doesn't have to compete with other dogs.


Roxy walks well on a leash and know how to sit on command. She doesn't seem to have many other commands but she appears to be a quick learner so we are certain that she can be easily trained.


Roxy is crate and housetrained. She is spayed and will be brought up to date on vaccinations and microchipped this coming week.


Good with Kids: we do not know how she would be with children so we would like her to go to a home with children 12 or older
