Steve is a sweet little love bug. He loves all humans. He loves going for car rides and walks. He loves snuggling with his foster dog and his person and loves sleeping with his human. Although he has not been tested directly with children, he has been temperament tested and he has passed with flying colors. We therefore feel that he will be fine with children. He loves sleeping with his human, so we are looking for a home for him where he can do that. Â
He easily walks 3 miles daily and has no issues with fatigue or his eyesight. He is potty trained, crate trained and healthy. He is neutered and up to date on his vetting.
Pete's Story: Pete was found wandering the streets. Hungry and worried he was found one cold winter day. The only good thing about that was that his hair had grown out so much that it actually kept him warm and safe from frost bite. The Good Samaritan was not so good and her impatience lead her to call animal control instead of trusting a rescue to pick him up. His cataracts worried us but it turned out that he though confused when he didn't know where he was, he could see shadows that allowed him to get around and stay safe.  His good personality saved him that horrible fate and death at Animal Control.  He is happy now and ready for his own forever home. Won't you be his forever love of his life?Â
Contact: Steve will be adopted into an inside forever home only. Fence preferred but negotiable with the right family. Reference and vet checks as well as a home visit are required. For an application please contact SilverRescue@gmail.com.
