Approximate Age: 6-7 years 

Approximate Weight: 86 lbs

Meet Boss, an incredibly sweet mastiff/bulldog mix who can't wait to find his forever home! Boss had a rough start to life and was extremely emaciated when he was confiscated by animal control. But he has bounced back and put on weight quickly - he currently weighs 86 lbs! He still needs to fill out a bit more though, and at full healthy size will likely be over 100 lbs. He is about 6-7 years old and gets along great with other dogs! We aren't sure how he does with kiddies and kitties, but we can find out for you.

Boss is really excited to be given a second chance at life, and he can't wait to meet a special someone or family to give him the loving home he deserves! He is a total sweetheart who captures the hearts of all who meet him. He is friendly with people and dogs, and would love to play with his people, go for long walks, and hit the dog park to make some new friends. He especially loves to snuggle up and show his affectionate side, whether that means big slobbery kisses or resting as much of his body as you will allow in your lap. 

Boss may be past his puppy stage, but he is certainly not an old dog - and he can certainly learn new tricks! He would do very well in obedience school, where he can bond with his people and earn treats. 

Like most shelter dogs, Boss may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
