Julep Pit Bull Terrier Mix Berkeley, CA

Julep is a jewel of a dog. She just loves to cuddle and engage with people and share her doggie love. Julep is so appreciative of attention from volunteers it’s hard to return her to her kennel at the end of a walk.   You want to hang out relish her affection and sweet energy.    Julep had multiple play dates with other shelter dogs and has been a star! She's a more gentle than dominant player though she loves to zoom around with the other pooches.   See pictures of her in playgroup via link below.  Julep could likely live with another well-matched dog.

 

Despite all this dear girl has going for her, our hearts go out to a dog like Julep, because often times, black dogs are overlooked. We sure hope someone comes along and realizes what a gift this girl could be to their life. She deserves a chance at a home of her own. Our paws are crossed that she finds one soon.
