Name: Maxine Breed: Lab/Retriever Mix
Approximate Age: 2 years old
Approximate Weight: 38 lbs
Currently Living at: SHELTER
This sweet lab mix girl has quite the sunny disposition and super soft yellow coat! She’s on the small-medium side for a lab/retriever mix at 38 pounds so she’s perfect for city or suburban living. Since Maxine is only 2 years old, she’ll have lots of energy for walks and visits to the dog park. She loves meeting new people but knows her manners.
In addition to playtime outside of the house Maxine wants you to know she would love a few toys and a nice fluffy dog bed to nap in. In return for all of your love (and maybe a few delicious treats) she’ll have plenty of doggy kisses and snuggles to give.
Maxine gets along great with other dogs and would love some doggie siblings, but is perfectly fine to be in a single pup house too. While we’re not sure how she is with cats or kids, we would be more than happy to find out.
Like most shelter dogs, Maxine may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. We always recommend new owners take their new pet to the vet for a full physical and to check on any concerns within a few days of adoption.
