Lucky Golden Retriever & Labrador Retriever Mix Clifton, VA

 


We rescued sweet Lucky over 3.5 months ago from a high kill shelter. He was brought in by animal control on a neglect case. Lucky is the sweetest, most gentle boy you will ever meet. He loves everyone and everything. He gets along great with other dogs and just loves and loves people. The first two weeks we had him, he was such a sad and broken boy, but since then he has come out of his shell. We've been showering him with love and he is giving the love back hundred fold. Lucky is truly such a gentle soul who has had a tough life, but clearly his heart has stayed true to his gentle soul, you can fit the world into his heart and still have room...he is a very special boy. Lucky was heart worm positive, he has less than 2 weeks left in his treatment. Once his vet has given him a clean bill of health, he will be available for adoption. Anyone looking for a gentle giant with a huge heart of gold Lucky is exactly that.


Lucky is ~ 3-4 year old golden mix. He was 58 lbs when we got him and he's ~70 lbs now. He is up to date on all vaccines and full vetted including blood worm, x-rays, parasite tests.
