Meet Bertie
Bertie
Est. DOB: March 17, 2012
Description: DSH Black
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00
Bertie is one of the “Eastern North Carolina kittens”. Bertie is a chatty little girl who will let you know when she wants to be held, fed or is in a room by herself and is missing you. A super sweet cuddle bug, Bertie has a HUGE purr motor and will literally start purring at just the sight of her foster mom. She loves wrestling with her brother and sister and enjoys "team hunting" the laser light with them. Bertie is a social little girl, and any lap will do when she is played out and wants to snuggle.
Bertie’s foster family has four big labs (dogs), and she gets along very well with them. In fact, chasing the dogs' wagging tails is one of her favorite past times.
The “Eastern North Carolina kittens” were born to a feral mom and living under a trailer. The mama cat has been TNR’d.
Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
