7/7/12 update from foster: Baby is a small pit bull with a big personality. She is very affectionate and lovable. She will definitely change your mind about the breed.

The first night she was here she crawled up in my bed and laid her head on my shoulder. I knew then she was a special girl. She has one fault that I know of. She doesn't like to be left alone. She loves people of all ages and she loves to be with my other dogs. She does not like to be crated or shut up by herself. She will make some one a wonderful and loyal companion. The third photo shows her sharing food bowl with another one pound foster. Baby loves other dogs.


6/24 update: Baby had been adopted but sufferers from separation anxiety and needs a new home where maybe someone is home most of the time with her, or has a fenced yard. More details to follow after we speak to former foster and the adopter at more length. She had been doing pretty good, but has started having issues when owner was gone and did some damage to the rental home's door and molding in addition to some other things. Baby was brought into area vet by owner because she was having a miscarriage. When vet opened her up, she had three rotting puppies inside her that had died many days before. Owner gave vet a fake name and fake phone number, so now sweet Baby has lost her babies and her owner at same time. The staff at vet adore Baby and really want her to find a good loving home. She is little at about 30-35 pounds and gets along with other dogs. I think her age is about 3. STAR will arrange transport to rescues in northeast. She is spayed and now up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Baby is sponsored to rescues.
