Name: Zoey Breed: Terrier/Pharoah Hound Mix
Approximate Age: 1 year
Approximate Weight: 35 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster.
Sweet and snuggly Zoey is a beautiful green eyed gal who will win you over with her good looks and personality to match. She is about a year and a half, and at her full grown size of 35 lbs, she's a petite little thing who loves to be held and cuddled, and return affection with mounds of kisses. Zoey is living in a foster home with a big doggy brother, who she adores, and loves playing with her doggie friends at the dog park and doggie daycare too. Zoey is very sweet and friendly to children, but maintains the belief that kitties are better for being chased than for being friends with, so would do best in a cat-free home.
In addition to being sweet as can be, Zoey is a very smart and energetic dog who will thrive as a student in just about any training class, and will need that training, exercise and structure to grow into a well behaved canine citizen. She is very athletic, and would make a wonderful running partner or agility champion! Zoey does have some food allergies, and will need to be on a chicken free and grain free diet in order to keep her coat and skin looking good and keep her from getting itchy. This is very manageable and will not require anything other than a little extra attention to ingredients in her kibble and treats. She would love to be part of an active family, and with a solid exercise plan, she could thrive in most home settings. She will steal your heart with snuggles and puppy kisses at the end of the day, if you'll just welcome her into your family!

Like most shelter dogs, Zoey may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
The adoption fee for Zoey is $300, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting or fostering this cutie, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Lynn at lynnh@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
