Chloe (Adoption Pending!) Cairn Terrier Spring, TX

I am Chloe, a pure bred Cairn Terrier.  I am about 4 and I used to be a breeder dog.  My friends at Westie Rescue have been teaching what it’s like to live in a home and cuddle with a family and be the center of attention.  Although I’m a little shy, I’m the kind of girl that will wag my whole butt just to show you how happy I am. I have really nice manners:   I’m not a begger or a barker; I don’t jump up on things (I’m a little shorty and I’m not quite springy enough to get on the couch).  Best of all, I’ve got this potty training thing down (so long as the humans remember to let me out every once in a while). 

I am beginning to seek out my foster brother and sister to learn how to play.  I’m really easy going – so if they’re not interested in playing, I’m OK with that.  I would be good in a home with another low-key dog or I think I could be happy as an only puppy too. 

In my foster family there’s a 9-year old girl and I love curling up with her for the night.  I have perfect manners and am gentle when I’m picked up, petted, fed -- pretty much 24/7. 

I will happily go in my crate if you give me a treat; I’m just as happy to come out when it’s time and see what’s going on in the yard.
