Taco Chihuahua Mix Lyons, IL

My name is Taco and I have a story to tell. I am from a litter of 5 we were motherless at 4 weeks of age when we were rescued from a hoarder situation in Southern Illinois. When we arrived at our foster moms home on Mar 13th I was 5 weeks old and weighed 1 pound 3 ounces the smallest of the litter. Mom loaded us up and off to the vet we went for a wellness check up, needless to say we tested positive for the parvo virus and were immediately hospitalized, days tuned into weeks of fluids, blood transfusions, yukky medicines and missing my mom, my toys and my soft warm bed. Mar 27th I finally left the vets and headed home, I have continued to gain weight and mom calls me the energizer bunny because I love to run and jump and play with my toys the cuddle with mom and watch . All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, heartworm tested if age appropriate; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
