Meet Jake
This handsome and good-natured boy is Jake!
Jake is an approximately 2-year old Bassett mix and weighs around 60 lbs. He was rescued from a shelter on his last day.
Jake is a very polite dog with his food, but he does like to counter-surf so food needs to be pushed back to the back of the counter. He knows how to sit for treats, and knows the word "no". Jake absolutely loves to run and play in the yard and a stockade fence is a must as he is able to climb chain link, and the occasional tree, lol.
Jake loves to play with other dogs and is a very social and friendly dog. He will need to be an indoor/outdoor dog. He does great in the house and has never chewed anything up although he has mouthed some items. Given plenty of his own chew treats and toys, he should be just fine.
Jake is house-trained, neutered, vaccinated, and heart-worm negative. His adoption fee is $90.00.
