MK Pit Bull Terrier & English Bulldog Mix Chicago, IL

When we first met this dumplin' at animal control, MK crawled into our laps for snuggles and smooches, and from what her foster family has to say, that's pretty much her style. It is difficult to photo just how adorable MK is; she has a big 'ol pitbull head on a squatty bulldog body and with one ear always perked up, her cuteness just has to be seen for yourself.

MK is a curious girl with excellent household manners; she is completely housebroken and crate trained. MK has lived (and thrived) with other dogs in the past and can certainly have successful interactions with canine friends though, since she can be a bit selective, it will simply need to be the right match. MK is a great mix of energy and calm; she does enjoy zooming around with a toy or tennis ball but will then gladly snuggle up for movie time or a cuddle session on the couch. This awesome 1-year-old seems to prefer residential areas to the chaos of downtown Chicago so she will thrive most in either a suburban or more residential Chicago environment.

Thanks to a generous grant from Animal Farm Foundation, we are able to provide a $100 training incentive to MK's adopters. This training will help ensure that MK has a smooth transition to her new home and will also foster the bond between MK and her guardians.
