Tiki is almost all black but has what I jokingly refer to as a "reverse skunk" because she seems to have a white streak down her chest, exactly opposite to how a skunk would be. We don't know her exact age but we're told she's somewhere between 18 months and 2 years old. She is very social and friendly and just today when I was talking to her, she actually SMILED at me - it was too cute!! She is not much of a barker but I have heard her speak once or twice. She loves to be held and petted and will make an incredible lap dog. Housetraining is a work in progress, but she's only been here a few days. She sleeps in a large crate with her sister and does not mess in her crate. She is a bit of a picky eater but that could just be the change of environment and her settling in here. She's an absolute doll and all you have to do is look at her and you're rewarded with that beautiful tail going non-stop, wagging in happiness. A few words from me: My goodness, how life has changed in such a short time. I started out in a place that just wanted to use me (and my sister) to breed new babies for people to buy and there was no consideration for me or my life. I lived in a crate, ate in a crate, went potty in a crate because that's all I had. Then something changed - someone took me from there and sent me to Canada (I'm originally from Ohio) and now I have a warm place to live and sleep, food in my belly when I'm hungry, freedom to roam around and explore and I don't ever have to have babies again. My foster mom tells me that even if I wanted to, I can't because they removed those parts from me. I would love a new home where someone can work with me on this potty issue that I'm experiencing as well as take me for regular walks so I can learn what that is like. I will return the favour by giving many many kisses, smiles and lots of snuggles, I promise. I have not yet learned what steps are so patience will be needed in my new home as I experience things as if I were a brand new puppy.
