Meet Snow (ADOPTED WITH FROST)
SNOW AND FROST HAVE BEEN ADOPTED TOGETHER!!!
SNOW is one of our five month old double merle puppies. If you haven’t read the profile on these puppies, you may want to take a minute to do that and familiarize yourself with double merles and what they can offer to you as a pet. SNOW is a stunning pure white in colour. She loves to play with her human companions, but is not nearly as strong-willed or busy as her siblings. She also loves to cuddle, gives wonderful nose-to-nose butts and makes the funniest little noises when you are cuddling her. She loves her canine companions too and would do best in a home with another dog who is stable, confident and gentle. SNOW is totally deaf and has limited vision in both eyes. It is easy to look at a hearing or vision impaired dog and decide this isn’t the dog for you, but that will keep you from adopting a very good and loving dog! Dogs with hearing or vision impairments can be taught hand and touch signals, similar to the voice commands you may be more familiar with. Like any other dog, their training takes patience and time, but they have the same drive to please their owners, and will do anything for a treat. Thanks to SNOW’s foster parents, she has learned to live and enjoy life in the world around her. She is crate trained, well-socialized and has been exposed to different sights, sounds (or should we say vibrations), flooring, stairs and puppy agility equipment. She is also very well-adjusted, handles easily and can be petted and touched all over. With a few simple preparations that you would make for any new puppy – for example, a decluttered floor area and a fully fenced back yard – your home could be ready for SNOW to move in very soon.
