Name/Nicknames: Cassidy but we call him Cass

My Story: Cassidy was a stray from a shelter in southern Minnesota.

Hobbies: Cassidy enjoys lounging around the house, taking walks and running with all the dogs at the off-leash park. He is well behaved, but still has his puppy moments.

Commands/Tricks: Cassidy knows "Sit, Down, Come, drop and plays fetch"; and is working on "shake, stay and leave it.”

Crate / Potty Trained:100% crate and house trained


Activity Level: Medium. When outdoors Cassidy will run and play as long as you will let him, in doors he is pretty calm, usually lying around. He does need the reminder that he is not a lap dog, or he will try and sit in your lap, he will lie down anywhere next to you.

Fun things I do: Cassidy greets us every morning with the bunny hop, he hops up and down in place, and he also does this when we get home. When one of us leaves he will sit in a kitchen chair looking out the window.

Socialization/who I currently live with: " Cassidy currently lives with a two medium sized young dogs, and has to Bischons for neighbors.

My Ideal Family: Cassidy does well in a house with dogs, but would likely do well in a home without other dogs. He will need a family that will make sure he gets exercise, love, and some play time.




Cassidy is attending Pet Haven's medium/large dog adoption events and his adoption fee is $300.00 (cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
