I am an extremely cuddly and affectionate male kitten. Although I am also playful and adventurous, what I really love most is to be around people. My disposition is sweet and relaxed, and I purr all the time, but especially when I am held, pet, kissed and talked to. In fact, although my foster family named me Fortunato, they usually call me Happy Cat because I am always so happy! If you are looking for the sweetest male kitten around and enjoy a kitty who will happily sit on your lap, I am your perfect match!

For the past several weeks I have been in foster care with my siblings (Lenore, Montresor, Roderick and Rowena) and two other kittens from two different litters (Rainey and Tiger). My foster family has four cats, two large female dogs, my foster mom and dad and their two daughters (ages 8 and 10). We all had a lot of fun playing with (and climbing on) the dogs and we have really enjoyed getting to know the human members of our foster family.

I am a very outgoing kitten and enjoy being around other cats as well as dogs and people. Like all of my siblings, I love to explore new spaces, climb and play with everything. Sometimes I get a little crazy with new toys, especially things like leaves or sticks that have been outside. When my foster family gives me these, I claim them and will run around with the toy in my mouth while growling at it. This looks and sounds kind of crazy, but someone needs to teach those outside-smelling things a lesson! When I am not exploring and playing, I love to be around people and will actively demand affection, usually by climbing on someone – I absolutely live to sit on people laps and will take every opportunity to climb and sit on the people around me. I also really enjoy food and treats and will purr when fed. I would love to be adopted with one of my foster siblings (especially Roderick or Lenore) and I will probably do well in any type of home but need a human companion who wants to spend lots of time with me (other pets would be okay, too).
