And now a few words from my foster mom: Nique is a small, 9lb shih tsu/maltese mix (at least that is our best bet). She is a young adult dog. Nique has come to LOYAL rescue through a program set up to help native communities deal with dog overpopulation. She was a dog found roaming in such a community in Northern Quebec and was not claimed. She is now looking for another home. How she could not have been claimed is beyond understanding. She is a quiet, well mannered little girl who loves people, is very good around other dogs, hops longingly into the car and generally watches the goings on in the house from a seat on the kitchen chair. All indications that she was loved previously. Nique is trustworthy when left alone in the house, is housetrained, and loves to sleep with her foster parents. Whatever family is lucky enough to invite her into their lives, will be rewarded with a non stop wagging tail and a soft coated small girl, whose eyes shine with love.
