And now a few words from me:
Well my life has certainly been exciting over the past week. Unfortunately, my owner had to give me up as she could no longer keep me. You see, I am a little afraid of men as I was badly handled for a short time. I guess I grabbed at her boyfriends hand but didn't bite hard as I thought he too was going to hurt me like the other man did. That led me to a temporary foster home for 2 days and now I am living in Walkerton with my new foster family. Boy, lots of new things going on.
I have had no problems at all in my new home with any of my foster brothers and sisters or my new foster mom and dad. I am treated really nicely and I am not afraid at all of my foster dad. He and I get along really well. I know this is a temporary home and I am going to enjoy every minute of it playing with the other dogs but I sure would like a family I can call my own.

And now a few words from my foster mom:
Well Barbie has been with us for only 3 days but she has had no problem with us or her 5 foster doggie siblings. She has shown no aggression or hesitation in joining in with the group and even jumping up on my husband’s knee so no fear of this man anyway. She licks his hand or puts her paws up to get up on his knee. I don't believe there would be an issue with any male as long as they show her they are kind and not abusive like the first man in her life. Our 2 granddaughters have played with her and she is great with them. Barbie will have to be spayed in a couple of weeks prior to being adopted but we are sure she will make a wonderful family pet. She sleeps in her dog bed and never stirs until she hears you getting up. She is also completely housetrained.
What better way to enjoy the beautiful fall weather than walking a sweet little girl and watching her play in the leaves. Please fill out an application as soon as possible as this little girl will be very popular and I am sure will catch a lot of attention.
