And now a few words from me: Having never known kindness, my friend and I (we came together) were very scared for the first few days here and gave our foster parents a hard time until we realized that we could trust them and that they wouldn't be unkind to us. After that, I became a little love bug and showered them with kisses and I always snuggle with them as much as possible. If they go out, I always make sure to welcome them back home by jumping up and down to greet them. It really is great here. I get to play with Sokki, the other Chihuahua that came with me, and also with a small white dog that lives here. He thinks that he is the "guardian" of the bird feeders so if he sees a cat that might attack them, he springs into action with me as back-up. Of course we never catch the cats but we do chase them away.   I really love it here but, as it's not my permanent home, I need to find that forever family before I get too attached to my foster parents. Might yours be such a home? My needs are few and you will be repaid with lots of kisses and snuggles and you'll always get a great welcome home - even if you've only been out for a very short time. I really love to snuggle but if I am on your knee you'll hardly notice because I'm really light and I'm very quiet. I would love to have a small friend to play with In my new home if that were possible.   My question to you is: are you already in love with me and want to share your home with me forever?   Shy at first, Gracie really is a gem once she realizes that she can trust you. Not a day goes by but she makes me smile. She is housetrained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash - just like a show dog! She is very agile and has great speed, yet she is content to snuggle in on your lap - or on your bed - where she will be as still as can be. She sleeps in her crate at night but would probably like it even better if she were allowed to sleep on/in your bed. Sokki, the other Chihuahua that came in with her was very dependant on her at first and that is why we waited before putting Gracie up for adoption. Sokki has now become more independent and we feel that they could be parted if necessary.   I know that Gracie will make a great addition to any home. She sure won my heart so it will be hard to let her go but it will be wonderful to find her the perfect forever home. If interested in Gracie, please contact LOYAL Rescue.
