Meet ADOPTED! Ribbon

Ribbon, formerly Zoey, came from the Elizabethton, Tenn., shelter after her previous owner left her in the drop box. The drop box is sort of like a trash can, but for dogs whose owners no longer want them. Ribbon is gentle, timid, so eager to please and so eager to be loved. She is also very thin; you can see her ribs and vertebrae poking from beneath her lovely coat. Her foster mom is working on fattening her up. Ribbon is ready for someone to treasure her. Ribbon needs someone very patient and kind, willing to watch her blossom into the dog she was meant to be. She enjoys other dogs and will be your faithful companion once you win her over.
