Meet Ripley
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
This is Ripley, who was rescued from a horrible backyard breeder situation in West Virginia where he was kept outdoors in a small wire rabbit hutch. He is a very sweet boy who is about 10 years young and has made incredible progress while in rescue. Ripley suffered from years of neglect both medically and socially. After months of treatment, we have been able to finally clear up Ripley's ear infections. The poor guy had probably suffered them for most of his life. Our vet found a polyp in his ear and we had that removed. Removing the polyp, along with changing his food to a high quality grain-free food and several courses of antibiotics now has Ripley pain-free!
His personality has really started to blossom. At recent events, he has even started seeking out children for attention and treats! Ripley just wants to have his own family to love him. Ripley gets along with others, oblivious to cats and would be fine around kids over 5. Ripley is not aggressive and would be more likely to hide than anything if he was frightened.
Ripley has been neutered, received his shots, heartworm tested negative and on prevention. He is on daily eye drops for tear production, but those drops are inexpensive and quite easy to administer.
Ripley would love to be your new best friend.
He is currently being fostered in the Central Ohio area and his adoption donation is $150.
