Buddy Terrier Mix Rockaway, NJ

Meet Buddy!  This tiny terrier was left paralyzed when a larger dog attacked him & broke his neck. He currently cannot use his front legs, but he can move his back legs & shake his tail in happiness while he's playing with another dog.  Buddy has his own wheelchair & now he is off the ground, looking eye-to-eye with the other dogs in his foster home.  It is like a whole new world for this little boy!!

Buddy has been going for physical therapy to help strengthen his legs. With each treatment, he is better able to move his legs & make his wheelchair zoom! Would you please consider donating towards his care?

Buddy is looking for a home that would have two or more people to help care for him, including someone who would be home most of the time as he cannot be left unattended for more than 3-4 hours. Buddy will not be placed in a home with young children because at 7 pounds he is tiny and he can’t risk any rough handling because of his injury. Buddy loves to “play” with the dogs in his foster home so he would love a friendly dog or two who could play with him without injuring him.

EHR would like Buddy to continue with his rehabilitation, too. Buddy’s physical therapist has given him exercises to be done at home to help improve his mobility – we would like his adopter to continue this with him in addition to taking him for rehabilitation. Buddy just wants to live life as best he can like any other family pet.
