And now a few words from my foster mom: Numa is a very sweet little girl, who is very quiet, affectionate , and loves attention such as cuddles and pats. She is happy to just curl up with you all day. Numa was one of our International rescues who was rescued from Mexico. She is about 3 1/2 years old , is a healthy weight of about 38 lbs and is a small to medium size dog.
I have had her for a short time and the change in her is amazing. She went from being so shy and unsure of her surroundings to now being so happy and meeting people and socially hanging out. She travels well and loves car and boat rides, she just curls up and lies quietly there in the car. She does not require a lot of exercise and is just happy to be with you. She is housetrained and crate trained and enjoys her bed in her crate, and is a pretty easy keeper. I have had her around cats and she has been very cat friendly and generally just ignores them.
Numa actually smiles a lot such as when you come home or she is excited. She will curl up her lips and has the biggest smile and waggy tail, it is the cutest thing. When Numa was rescued she was not fixed so she has had many litters and probably lived on the streets spending her time feeding her puppies and searching for food but has since been fixed and vetted and is up to date with her shots.
One of the sweet things she does is when you give her food she always waits and gives you a big smile and waggy tail to show you how thankful she is for it and eats it ever so gently with smiles in between. She really wants to please people and would make someone a fantastic companion. Numa walks very well on a leash and does not pull. When off leash she needs to be trained to come as she will ignore you and sometimes take off but does come back eventually, she needs training on come but is getting better and should have a fenced back yard. As far as breeding I would say that she is a heinz 57 mix with some terrier. Her head looks a bit like a terrier shape and she has the coarse terrier hair. Unfortunately due to all the litters Numa has had her nipples are now a bit enlarged and will probably remain this way. She really is a wonderful special dog that will make someone a fantastic best friend and companion for life so please give her the second chance she deserves.
