And now, a few words from my foster mom:  Step right up folks and meet my Alphie! He is a delightful hound mix who is trying to sniff out his furever, loving home! Alphie loves to be around people and other dogs. He would make an excellent family pet.

 

He is house and crate trained. I work full time and he is used to being home alone, no problems to report there at all. He'll pull on the leash, only because his cute beagle nose likes to be close to the ground so he can soak in all of the interesting scents! He gets along wonderfully with my pack and ignores the cats. He is a silly boy that loves food, attention and affection :)

 
Note: Hounds will follow their noses so must always be kept secure--no doors or gates left open.  A well-fenced yard is ideal, but beagles are pack animals and will not want to be outside for very long without a person.
 

Please don't make him wait much longer for his very own home. Alphie won't disappoint!
