Cocoa German Shorthaired Pointer Oak Ridge, NJ

My name is Cocoa and I am 8 years young. Like most middle aged GSP's, I enjoy lounging around. I'm not like those young, crazy GSP's who don't stop moving. They make me tired just watching them! My family fell on hard times and couldn't care for me anymore. I miss the only family I ever knew, but luckily the nice folks in rescue were able to help and I'm in a super foster home until my new family comes along.

I'm a very sweet girl and I'm cute too! My foster mom says I'm loving because I give kisses and follow my humans everywhere! I don't even need to be crated when they go out because I'm trustworthy when left with my foster sister and brother. I really love my foster siblings and I also love my human foster siblings! Because I have good house manners, I don't go on the furniture and I even know the word "NO".

My only fault is I really love food and if I find something extra special, hand's off - it's mine. My foster family quickly learned that and now they don't leave food out where I can "steal" it. I enjoy mealtime, but that's not the same. It's just those special treats that I get on my own, that I prefer to save just for me!
