Meet Mandi

Hi I'm Mandi! If you're looking for a really great family dog, here I am! I'm a sweet little girl who loves to play. I also love to cuddle! I'm very petite and only weigh 35 lbs. I'm about 2 1/2 years old. I'm a smart active girl who loves to run and play in my foster mom's backyard. She has a high fence which is good because I can jump really high especially when I see a squirrel. My foster mom has a son and I get really excited when he gets home from school in the afternoon. It's the best part of my day! I love to play fetch too. I'll bring a tennis ball right back to you. I'm also housebroken and polite when you're eating. I love treats but know that I'm not allowed to beg at the table. I know how to sit and come when I'm called. I do like to jump on the couch and look out the window, but I get down right away when I'm told. If you adopt me, I will be the best dog. You'll see! I will run around and play during the day and snuggle up with you at night. I'm that kind of girl!

When I first came to my foster home, I wanted to be the one in charge. You see, my owner was very ill. He had a lot of trouble taking care of me, so I kind of ran the house. When I got to my foster home, my foster mom nicely explained to me that she was in charge here. I learn fast, so that's fine with me. I'm also going to obedience classes with my foster mom. She says when you adopt me, you will have to finish up my lessons. But don't worry, she can help you find a trainer right near your house. One of the rules here is that I go in my crate when no one is home. I even sleep in my crate at night. It's my cozy safe place with my bed and my bone, so I'm fine with that. When I met the dogs that live in my foster home, I thought I could at least be in charge of them. The big dog said no and that's fine with me. I like to run around and play with them, so I follow their rules. My foster mom also took me to a family party. I was so good! She was really proud of me. Everyone wanted to pet me and play with me, and I loved the attention. When everyone sat down for dinner, I just curled up on the rug and went to sleep. No one even knew I was there.

If you're interested in adopting me, please email gsprescuenj@hotmail.com and ask for an adoption application.
