Buzzy is a male Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler)/Australian Shepherd mix and is about 2 years old. He is being privately fostered by a Rugaz volunteer and is looking for his forever home. Buzz was pulled from a high-kill rural shelter in January. When he first came home, he was hesitant of many things -- going through doorways, ceiling fans, etc. Now, he is a confident and cheerful guy. His personality is his greatest asset. He has such an endearing quality to him, and he loves to make people laugh. One of his favorite things to do is carry around a toy and wiggle his stump-tail to get you to play with him. He's a total lover and just wants to be near you at all times.

Buzz LOVES going for long walks and is easy to walk on the leash. He is being fostered in a large "pack" of dogs, and gets along with everyone. He is great with kids, but would probably be best in a home with kids over 5 because of his size and bounciness. He does like to chase cats, so he needs a kitty-free family. Buzz would thrive in a semi-active to active family.
