Meet Adopted! Patrick
Patrick was adopted June 2011!
Age: approx. 9 months as of 3/9/11
Weight: 35 lbs.
Good with children - yes (any children he'd live with should be at least 8)
Good with other dogs - yes
Good with cats - unknown
House trained - he's only been with us a few days but so far so good
Fenced yard - required
Not OK for apartment dwelling
Chews inappropriate items - He's still young so not completely trustworthy on that score. Patrick would like lots of his own toys.
Hi! My name is Patrick, and I love to cuddle. Even though they say I'm 9 months old, I still feel very much like a puppy. I enjoy playing with toys, and playing with my dog and human foster family. And though I'm quite active, sometimes I like to just laze in the sun surrounded by my toys.
Because I'm still young, I'm not completely coordinated yet. I really do like children, but I'm a bit too wild for the under 8 crowd.
They're home-schooling me here. I'm working on potty training (got a B on my last report card, so I'm getting there), sitting, staying, coming when called and walking politely on a leash. Part of my training involves a crate. I don't like that part much, but I gather it has something to do with keeping me out of trouble, and I don't really like to be in trouble, and I don't always know how to avoid it yet. I am still a puppy.
Since I am very active, I need a fenced yard to run in. I would really love a f
amily that enjoys outdoor activities, as I'm sure I could add lots of fun to out
tings.

Currently Patrick is not expecting to attend May 21st's show. However, please check back the morning of the show in case plans have changed. If you're interested in Patrick, we encourage you to contact us and/or submit an adoption application (on-line). Please consider coming to a show to meet some of the other adoptable animals, as well as the adoption coordinators. For more information about adoption shows (with links to directions), see www.pgspca.org/events/.
