Meet Flap Jack

FlapJack is a very pleasant older gentleman who has had a pretty rough 2011 so far. He was found roaming the streets by animal control, brought to the shelter and medically tested where it was discovered that he was heartworm positive. It was decided that he would be placed in foster care while he was treated for heartworm. Everything went well: his treatment worked and he was adopted out to the family that fostered him. Sadly FlapJack was returned to us after 6 months because the owners had to move from their home to an apartment and couldn't take him. Even though life has thrown Flapjack a few curves he has remained a very obedient and sweet 6 year old boy who is both friendly and playful and just craves attention from everyone he meets. He's shown us that he does well with cats and kids and he also appears to be housetrained. All he needs now is a forever home where he can enjoy life to the fullest.
