Hello, my name is Sugar Plum. My owner died, and a nice man has been taking care of me, but he doesn't want a dog permanently. I am a sweet girl who just wants a cozy place to hang out with you and be your friend. I don't like other dogs very well and I really don't like cats, so it would be best for me to be an only pet. Sometimes I will talk to you, but I have to admit, mostly I say things like "please share your lunch with me!" As you can see from my photos, I need to lose some weight--but I have been on a diet and my friend takes me for lots of great walks every day, so I am getting down to my idea size. Now I just need to connect with the wonderful person who will give me a forever home. Is it you? I sure would appreciate being your special friend! I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, housetrained, and sweet as my name.

p.s. The SNIPPP people tell me that they will give me a ride to anywhere in California, Oregon, or Nevada if the right person wants to adopts me but they don't live near here.
