Booker Jack Russell Terrier Toronto, ON

Booker is approximately 3 years old and is a JRT/Chihuahua cross. He is quite timid until he gets to know you and then he is your best friend! He is very sweet, absolutely loves to sit on your lap and roll over for a good belly rub. Booker has had a rough beginning to his life and was going to be shot until he came to JRT Rescue. He is from a puppy mill where he was used for breeding, and has not been socialized much. However, he is extremely dog friendly and loves to play with other dogs. He has never been walked on leash, and going out the front door is still quite traumatic for him, so his new owners will have to be aware of this. But he does love to be outside, and will happily spend hours in the backyard with the other dogs. He would probably do well in a fairly quiet home without small children. He is completely crate trained and vetted. Booker needs to learn to trust people and be comfortable with them. He will make someone a fabulous, loyal pet if he is given the chance.
