WISHBONE - HELP! Tortoiseshell Mix Hamilton, NJ

This precious little kitten has started off with a rough life. Wishbone was found near a local cemetery all alone, filthy and malnourished. When we came to her rescue she had been limping around on a broken back leg.



Wishbone was rushed to the Vet for immediate care X-rays showed she has a severe fractor just above her knee. Being only an estimated 6 weeks old and underweight we feared the implications of surgery. We decided to take the chance to save her leg and a metal pin was inserted to stabilize her leg. The surgery was a success!



Currently she is in foster care recovering and learning how to walk with her repaired leg. She is a awaiting a second surgery to remove the pin. And although she has endured so much already in her short life she is an amazing kitten. With just one look she instantly starts to purr. She is extremely affectionate and loves to nuzzle her head against a warm hand. She is going to be a wonderful lap cat.
