Buzz Australian Shepherd Mix Baker City, OR

Buzz is a beautiful 5 year old tri-color Australian Shepherd mix. He looks like he could possibly be mixed with a collie. Buzz is the product of a divorce and was taken to the Humane Society where he was rescued and taken to a family home.

Buzz is extremely social and greets everyone with a wag of his entire body. Buzz has a beautiful coat of hair which was extremely matted so he received a summer haircut.

Buzz is now in a foster home with 2 adults and 4 children ages 9-16. He is also living with 1 Border Collie and a German Shepherd mix pup and doing very well on a small family farm. He loves to go out to the fields when everyone goes to work, but he prefers to watch instead of participate in the herding of the sheep, goats or cows. He leaves that to the humans. and goes back to watch from the front porch. He is enjoying the freedom of a fenced yard instead of a small outdoor kennel.

Buzz needs a fenced yard that will keep him safe and give him a place to run and play. He is definitely not a working dog. Buzz walks very well on a leash and rides well in a car. He knows his basic commands and is well behaved in the house.

Buzz likes small children, other dogs and adults. He will make a wonderful family pet and companion. He wants to go back to being a family pet and not an outdoor dog left in the back yard or kennel.
