Jaylyn-ADOPTED! American Staffordshire Terrier & Terrier Mix West Richland, WA

Jaylyn's HAPPY TALE is that she has
just been reunited with her original owner.  Due to a domestic
situation, he lost control of her and she was then given to some other
people who sent her to the pound.  More than a year passed by and
a friend of Jaylyn's original owner saw her and thought she recognized
her.  The original owner and his children came to see her and
there was an INCREDIBLY HAPPY REUNION ! !

Jaylyn is a sweet, friendly
AmStaff-Cross with a great personality. She is a young girl who we
estimate was born approximately in late 2007. She likes to be with "her person" all
the time. Once settled in, she will become protective of
“her person” and “her building”…will bark and growl if someone knocks
on the door, but stops immediately when she’s told that “It’s OK”.



Jaylyn came to the shelter with a huge chain around her neck and
electrical tape wrapped around her mouth so tightly she couldn’t move
at all. She has possibly been abused by someone as some people
she really shies away from or tends to be submissive with.



She knows all the basic obedience commands and willingly complies, but
needs to be reminded at times. She loves her bed and a soft
blanket. Loves to go for walks. She plays willingly
with toys and likes to play "catch" in mid-air with her doggie
biscuits. She is excellent with other dogs and cats and
loves to play with children, although sometimes becomes too boisterous
for a timid child.

this may be the perfect dog for you.



Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, she will be spayed, brought up-to-date on
all shots and microchipped prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is
$125.



At present, Jaylyn is being fostered in the TriCities, Eastern
Washington. However, we will gladly work with you to arrange transport
to other parts of the Pacific Northwest.
