Farrah's Story
FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Farrah is a fun loving girl who adds joy to every day. She is pretty sure that everyone wants to be her friend and she makes sure that new people and dogs are met with a wag of her tail. Farrah would love to belong to a family that will include her in their adventures. She would be a great walking and camping buddy and she would be a great companion on gentle hikes. Farrah is also very content lounging beside you on the couch or hanging out in the sunshine. She enjoys the outdoors and because of that she will need a securely fenced back yard.

Farrah is ready to be a cherished family member. She is patient, quiet and has great house manners. Farrah is living peacefully with other dogs and would enjoy a canine buddy or two. Farrah has met the resident cat in her foster home and she was curious but showed no interest in chasing, however, any cats in the home should have a safe place to observe Farrah while she settles into her new environment. Farrah would be fine with children who have an understanding of respectful behavior towards animals.

Farrah recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She also received a dental and had 3 masses removed. The masses were benign, completely excised and should prove curative. Farrah is 10 years old and weighs 56 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We dont adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We dont ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog. For questions about this dog please call Elizabeth Woche, Senior and Special Needs Dog Coordinator, at 425-974-9479
