Diego is a delightful gentleman who will melt your heart. He is calm and quiet and he is dreaming of being a cherished family member. Diego's perfect home will have a warm lap or two, a cozy bed and lots of love. He has spent most of his life being neglected and unwanted but those days are far behind him.

Diego is living happily with a respectful dog in his foster home and is enjoying his time with her. He has lived with cats and would be fine in a home with a dog savvy cat. Diego has impeccable house manners and would be wonderful company for just about anyone. He really enjoys being with his people and deserves a home where he would be included in the family plans. This sweetheart just wants to belong.

Diego recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. He also received a dental. Diego came into rescue with toenails that were unacceptably long. After they were trimmed, he needed foot soaks because his feet were so painful and inflamed. DIego is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. He is 10 years old and weighs 25 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA.
